Going into this Tournament I knew Carl Seaman would have an excellent shot at "The Green Jacket" . Finishing 9 off the lead in 2012 and shooting a Net 70 in the final round in 2011 to force a three way playoff. Plus Carl is a member of the highly respected Chartwell Country Club with access to some of the country's best golf instruction.

In a recent interview with Chartwell's head pro Rob Agresti. Rob described Carl as an inconspicuously crazed man. Rob said Carl always seemed cool, calm and collected. But one day I heard Carl on the practice tee repeating, "the green jacket will be mine, the green jacket will be mine". It was then that I realized Carl was on some sort of mission.

I had the opportunity to accompany Carl twice this tournament. The second time happened to be the final day of tournament play. Carl was just as cool on the final day as he was earlier in the week. Being a three time Hack Master Champion I took liberty to give Carl advice where needed. I'm sure Carl didn't require any help but the situation reminded me of Len Sr. coaching me to my first Hack Masters Victory and I couldn't resist helping my "Pony" along. Whether I helped or not it was a joy to watch Carl take on a three shot deficit and come out victorious.

Anyway, on to some of the better quotes this year:

1. Something's would go unnoticed if George weren't here.

4. At least you haven't gotten us thrown out yet.

6. If it weren't for the mistakes I'd be a good golfer.

Things remembered this year.

1. Joe Yirka. "Your gonna be proud of me".
2. Cheese burger in Leningrad.

Something new happened this year in the Okane cart. There was some singing.

1. Sung to the tune of "I fooled around and fell in love", "I fooled around with George Slacum".
2. Sung to the tune of "Sweet Caroline", "Sweet Joey Pants Ba Ba Baaa".
3. Sung to the tune of "Runnin with the Devil", "Runnin with George Slacum".

George Slacum on the tee with a three stroke lead on the final day of tournament play. George exploads a golf ball or is he the brunt of a practical joke! All I know is I was told to "watch this"!

This is the second year in a row with George in the hunt for the "The Green Jacket" . Hang in there George and those wins will come!

On a disturbing note. After winning the 2013 Hack Masters, Carl Seaman posed for the "2013 Body Issue" of Sports Illustrated. We're not sure if this conduct is becoming of The Hack Masters Golf Tournament and the Hooties Hackers Golf Club but talks are in progress.

What a great trip and I apologize once again for not getting enough photos. You guys know how it is on the Golf Course and if I'm not playing we'll it's even more difficult to pull out the camera!
